Ingredients
Cabbage and Chicken Noodle Soup
Instructions
Step 1
Start by turning your Instant Pot to the sauté setting. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, Cantanzaro herbs, salt, pepper, and garlic. Coat each piece of chicken in the flour mixture, shaking off any extra. Add olive oil and butter to the pot and let the butter melt. Brown the chicken in batches, about 3 minutes on each side, until golden. Once browned, set the chicken aside on a plate.
Step 2
Next, toss the bell pepper and garlic into the pot and sauté for a couple of minutes until they soften. Transfer them to a small heatproof bowl or silicone container. Pour the pasta into the bottom of the Instant Pot, then add the heavy cream and chicken broth. Give it a gentle stir so the pasta is coated with the liquids.
Step 3
Place the steamer rack inside the pot, arrange the chicken on top, and set the bowl of peppers beside it. Seal the lid and cook on high pressure for 7 minutes. It’ll take about 10 to 15 minutes to come up to pressure.
Step 4
Once the cooking time is up, let the pressure release naturally for around 15 minutes, then carefully finish with a quick release. Remove the chicken, peppers, and rack. Switch the pot back to sauté mode, pour in the white wine, and add the spinach. Stir everything until the spinach wilts, about 2 to 4 minutes, then mix in the Parmesan cheese. The sauce will thicken a bit as it cools. Serve the chicken alongside the creamy pasta and peppers right away.
